Known for dazzling palates with his bold creations, Chef Anthony also shares his expertise by providing vegan recipes to HBCUs nationwide, inspiring the next generation of healthy eaters.
Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Chef Anthony transformed a life-altering diagnosis of Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) in 2006 into a story of resilience. After undergoing risky brain surgery, he embraced the healing power of a wholesome diet and unshakable determination—emerging stronger and more inspired.
In 2008, he launched his catering company, serving high-profile clients and major events with creativity and excellence. Since then, he has self-published 11 books, including ChefAntWow: Vol. 1 – A Collection of Recipes and Meal Prep is the New Leftovers, along with a growing collection of children’s books promoting healthy habits.
Chef Anthony’s culinary journey has been featured in The Washingtonian, The Beet, VegNews, Fox 5, Oprah’s OWN, NBC News, Black Enterprise, Cuisine Noir, and TV One’s Sister Circle, among many others. His mission is clear: to promote health, wellness, and joy through food.
Beyond the kitchen, Chef Anthony is committed to service—regularly distributing hot meals and clothing to those in need. At home, he treasures his role as husband and father to two daughters, ages nine and three.
